What is a muse, really?
Sometimes it’s a person. Sometimes it’s a flash of light, a scent, a memory, a moment of divine timing. A muse is a force that inspires—a spark that wakes something deep inside us and whispers, create, move, begin.
For artists (and we’re all artists in some way), this energy is everything. Personally, I need to feel inspired or I just don’t feel like myself. I crave that silent pull of something bigger, that feeling that my soul is expansive and alive. When I don’t have it? I start to shrink. I go small. And I know I’m not the only one who feels that way.
But inspiration doesn’t have to be some huge life-changing thing. It can be tiny and weird and completely your own. I’ll never forget when I was little and my mom bought me a brand-new box of 64 Crayola crayons. I swear I felt like I had everything in the world to live for. Just the smell of them made me giddy. My little artist soul was bursting at the seams even then.
That’s the kind of magic we all need more of.
This week, I want you to find your muse—even if it’s just for a few minutes.
💫 Try a new workout.
💫 Buy the perfume you’ve been eyeing.
💫 Scroll your phone until you land on that photo that still gives you butterflies.
💫 Watch a YouTube video that lights you up.
💫 Write the poem. Start the book. Plan the trip. Dye your hair.
Whatever it is... follow that spark. You don’t need to tell anyone. It’s for you and you only. But here’s the wild part: when you do it—when your soul lights up—your angels take notice. Truly.
They see your soul’s light glow like a beacon, and they draw in closer. The energy of inspiration attracts very specific angelic frequencies—angels who are ready to help you create, align, expand, and take the next step. They bring energy you wouldn’t have on your own. That’s the magic of working in partnership with them.
Here’s the even wilder part…
While writing this very blog, I remembered something that happened this morning. I had woken up suddenly—from a dead sleep—because I heard a woman’s voice calling my name. For spiritual people, this kind of thing happens often, but let me tell you… it was loud! I literally thought, Why did she wake me up on a weekend?!
I asked for a name.
She answered: Archangel Aurora.
I had completely forgotten until halfway through writing this. That’s when I knew—this is why she came. She wanted me to write about inspiration. About new beginnings.
Archangel Aurora is the angel of fresh starts. She reminds us to embrace what brings us joy and helps us move into a lighter, more aligned version of ourselves.
Right now stop and close your eyes. Take a deep breath in......ask yourself: What inspires me?
Then… go do it. Go feel it. Go be it.
And if you need help getting there? Call in Archangel Aurora. She’s listening—and she might even show up in a dream calling your name next. 😉
