It’s dark. Your flashlight is broken. You have no batteries. And guess what? You will not be given any either.
Your job is to sit here. As tough as it may be. Sit with the darkness. This is an opportunity to discover the uncomfortable truths of what may reside here.
Whether it is your own or someone else’s, that is for you to decide.
Darkness is quiet. It lets you feel what is not being said.
This will of course be different for everyone.
Uncovering truths. Deciding new paths. Where will you shed the light.
Do you even want to move towards the light?
When you know darkness, have felt it, and lived through it… You will always crave the light. For you know what dwells there. You know the monsters and the secrets they keep.
When you truly know the darkness and are a good person, you cringe knowing someone else could ever feel this way. So when you encounter someone in that state, you do what you can to get them out.
You throw them a line. And most often they won’t catch it at first….because …ITS DARK.
So you try again….and again…you get creative….but most importantly….you don’t give up and lead with LOVE.
You open your heart and it shines a light..which serves as a beacon to lead that person home. You show them love and compassion. You show them that you too know what the darkness feels like…you have been through it.
There is a certain knowing that is acknowledged and they recognize they are in good hands.
You lead the way. You conquered the darkness and you made it out. So now you take charge and show others the way out too.
Most of my life has actually been discovered through the dark. Pitch black. It is why I am who I am today. This is why I will ALWAYS lead people to the light.
It is not easy. Not everyone tells their story. They do not have to. Doing the work in the trenches is the most important. There is no reason or room for accolades when you are protecting and helping a soul evolve. Big souls have no time for that.
To lead another with love and compassion is to advance a soul.
It is a high level of advancement. God gave you that responsibility because he knew you could do it.
Now go turn on the light.✨
