There is one thing in life I have never wavered on. That is being me. Even if I was ridiculed, gossiped about, or made to look like I was the crazy one.
To me being authentic is why we are all here. To be an expression of our highest selves and share that with each other. The most important thing to remember is to LISTEN TO YOURSELF. If I listened to others I would have never created what I have so far.
People tend to have lots of input on how they think things should be. And thats great- when you actually ask for advice.
The best thing I did when starting my business was try my hardest to take as much pressure off myself as I could. Instead of making sure everything was perfect, I put it out there the best I could at that moment. Later, as time when on I tweaked things. Different designs, different colors, new photos, etc.
If I waited until everything was EXACTLY how i needed it to be or thought how people wanted it, nothing would be created and sent out into the world.
YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE…then as you go…you will collect ideas to refine your craft.
Remember…
Start with what you know.
Research.
Use what you have.
Keep it to yourself while creating.
Your ideas need to come from you. That's what will make it authentic!!
